Marianne Edwards

 

Marianne Edwards is from Edmond, Oklahoma. She began dancing at the age of 5 and has studied ballet, tap, jazz, and music theatre. She is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre.  While at UCO, she performed in several of their mainstage productions and jazzlab shows, as well as acting as dance captain and assistant choreographer. She has also performed with several local theatres including: Jewel Box Theatre, Pollard Theatre, Oklahoma City Theatre Company, Sooner Theatre, Summerstock Productions, and Tulsa Project Theatre. Some of her favorite theatre credits include: Bring it On (ensemble), In the Heights (ensemble/Yolanda), Chicago (Hunyak), Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Dancer), Steel Pier (ensemble), and The Will Rogers Follies (Follies Girl). Marianne spent several seasons with Silvertree Productions as cast member performing in various shows at Frontier City Theme Park as well as traveling as an entertainer with Snowball Express in Dallas. She is a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she earned a Master of Education in Student Affairs. She currently works at the University of Central Oklahoma in the Office of Student Advocacy where she helps college students reach their goal of graduation. She is thrilled to be teaching again and is excited to join the Range of Motion teaching staff! Dance has brought her so much joy through the years and she is so excited to share that love with all of her students!
