Catherine Hudako

Catherine Hudacko is a dance teacher, choreographer, and former professional performer with extensive training in ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop. 

A proud alumna of Range of Motion Dance Studio, Catherine trained twelve years under the direction of the great CeCe Farha. Her early training also includes the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain, where she studied with New York City Ballet's Deanna McBrearty, as well as The Washington School of Ballet where she had the opportunity to perform at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.  Catherine continued her dance education at the University of Oklahoma, studying under Mary Margaret Holt.  While at OU, she was a member of the Oklahoma Festival Ballet Company and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet Pedagogy.  Some of her favorite performances with OFB include Nijinska's Les Biches, Steve Brule's original contemporary ballet Mojo, and the premiere of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. 

Her professional career includes performing six years as a Principal Equity Performer at Walt Disney World, where she performed the role of Maji in The Festival of the Lion King, incorporating ballet, partnering/stunt work, and aerial performance.  She also performed as a Beauxbaton in the Triwizard Spirit Rally at Universal Studios' The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.  Catherine additionally performed in the film Rainbow Around the Sun and toured internationally with Allegro Ballet and Young Tanzsommer in Austria.

After retiring from professional performance to raise her three children, Catherine is excited to share her experience and passion with the next generation of ROM dancers.
