Jillian Gutierrez

Jillian is currently a senior at Oklahoma City University where she is working toward her degree in Exercise Science in the Petree College of Arts and Sciences.   Jillian Gutierrez is from Duncan, Oklahoma. She has been dancing since she was four years old, 17 years.  Jillian joined the competitive dance team at Heartbeat Dance Studio at the age of seven, where she competed and attended numerous conventions every year.  She also was a Teacher Assistant for the younger student classes.  She won many awards in her competition years, including most photogenic, best costume, and performer of the weekend.  In high school she was on the Pom team and in her senior year her team won OSSAA 5A Hip Hop State Championship.  When she graduated in 2023 she signed with Oklahoma City University competitive dance team.  While on the OCU Pom team she has competed at National Dance Alliance Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida. Since being on the team, she and her teammates have won 3 Nationals Championships under the coaching of Tasha HInex.  She is excited about this upcoming year and joining the faculty at Range of Motion!
