Sophia Bovasso​

 

Sophia Bovasso (singer, dancer, and actress) is a skilled performer with strong artistic intelligence. Originally from Denver, Colorado, she grew up training in numerous styles of dance, as well as attending dance competitions and conventions from an early age. She is currently a junior Dance Performance major at Oklahoma City University, where she trains daily in jazz, tap, ballet, and precision jazz. As a member of the Star Dance Company, she has been featured in semesterly dance productions at OCU. Sophia has taken her training beyond OCU by attending multiple dance workshops in New York City including, Steps on Broadway Summer Study 2025 and Fusion Dance Summer Performance Workshop 2026. On top of her training, Sophia is passionate about teaching dance, and has spent ample time studying dance pedagogy at OCU. Sophia is committed to growing as an artist and sharing her love for dance with everyone around her!
