Sophia Davies​

Sophia Davies graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance. Originally from Oklahoma City, Sophia grew up training under CeCe Farha at Range of Motion Dance Studio, where she developed a strong foundation in dance from a young age. Sophia attended training at The Washington Ballet Summer Intensive with CeCe Farha, Joffrey Ballet Summer intensive, American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive, The Rockettes Summer Training Program, and Professional Audition Workshop with Rhonda Malkin and Ann Cooley.

During her time at Oklahoma City University, she trained extensively in ballet, tap, jazz, partnering, and many other disciplines that prepared her for a career in performing arts. Following her graduation, Sophia completed her first professional contract aboard the Regent Seven Seas Navigator with Creative Studios. As part of the Entertainment Team, she performed in main stage productions, collaborated on and created a main stage show for the company, and entertained guests while traveling the world. Most recently, Sophia performed with Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma in their production of Annie as an Ensemble member and Dance Captain. Following the production, she assistant choreographed Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma’s production of Sweeney Todd alongside choreographer Ashlyn Adams and Director Michael Baron. In the months ahead, Sophia will be performing in Sooner Theatre’s production of Les Misérables as an Ensemble member this October. She will also be performing with Rand Productions in their holiday production of Christmas in the Air as a Tinsel Toe Precision Dancer and Ensemble Dancer at MGM Beau Rivage Resort during the holiday season. Sophia is incredibly grateful for the experiences, training, and relationships she has gained throughout her career and is excited to continue learning, growing, and pursuing new opportunities as a performer.
