Dita Sartain

Dita Sartain was born in Oklahoma City and began her dance training at Range of Motion.  After moving to the Washington, DC area, she continued her training at The Washington Ballet where she performed in Septime Webre’s Nutcracker.  Dita sang and danced her way through high school where she had opportunities to perform at infamous venues such as the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts and The Warner Theater.  Dita attended Oklahoma City University where she spent four years performing with The American Spirit Dance Company and earned a Bachelor of Performing Arts Degree from Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment.  Dita went on to perform professionally with Kings Dominion Theme Park in Richmond, Virginia as a featured dancer.  She then performed with Cirque du Soleil in Washington, D.C and New York City as a promotional dancer.  From New York, Dita joined the year-round cast of The Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as a featured dancer and singer, performing six to ten shows a week.  Her musical theater performances include Centenary Stage Company’s Wizard of Oz, in Hackettstown, NJ Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma’s Les Misérables, and most recently Lyric Theatre’s production of The Sound of Music as a featured dancer and singer.  When Dita is not at ROM, she is a realtor with West and Main Homes.  We welcome Dita back to Oklahoma City and to Range of Motion!
