Corinne Totty

 

Corinne Totty gladly joined the Range of Motion Staff in 2023. Born and raised in Birmingham, AL, she started her dance training at an early age with Alabama Dance Academy under the direction of Pamela Merkel. She graduated and moved to Oklahoma City in 2017 as a Trainee with the Oklahoma City Ballet and was promoted to Studio Company member during her two-year tenure. She performed in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Robert Mills' Little Mermaid, before returning to school at the University of Oklahoma, majoring in Modern Dance Performance with a minor in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship. While pursuing her degree, she also served as marketing chair, vice president, and later, president of the Gamma Beta Phi honors society. After performing in and choreographing numerous works, she presented her capstone project, Journey, and ultimately graduated magna cum laude in just three and a half years. She has a keen interest in the longevity of her students,  helping fellow dancers to perform masterfully while also taking care of their bodies and protecting from injury to ensure a long career of dance. She is very excited to be on the ROM staff and excited to help in any way!
